What is calibrated paving?
Calibrated paving consists of stone or concrete slabs machined to an even, consistent thickness, enabling level laying and reducing lippage between adjacent stones.
Calibrated paving refers to paving slabs that have been machine-dressed to a uniform thickness across the entire surface. Unlike natural or roughly cut stone, which varies in depth from slab to slab, calibrated material arrives at the site with consistent dimensions, typically to within 2-3mm.
